Home Away from Home 

Host families Host families play a vital role in the success of any guardianship arrangement. They provide your child with a warm, welcoming environment—a true “home away from home”—and become an important part of their experience in the UK.

 

We take great care in matching each student with a host family located near their school. If the fit is right, this family often becomes like a second set of parents—your child’s “English Mum and Dad”—during their time abroad. Your child will stay with them during exeat weekends and school breaks, becoming part of the household. Many students speak fondly of the time they spend with their host families and often keep in touch long after their school years have ended.Each student has a private bedroom with a study space and enjoys three meals a day with the family.

 

We personally visit every host home to ensure not only the quality of accommodation and food, but also the level of care, comfort, and support offered.Our host families come from a range of backgrounds—some are former boarding school staff who wish to remain connected to student life, while others welcome the chance to offer their own children a cultural exchange. What they all have in common is a shared commitment to kindness, support, and creating a safe, nurturing home environment.
